In 1979 I formed Daven Records. One of the first bands I recorded and produced on my label was "The Blessed" featuring Walter Lure (lead vocalist and guitarist of Johnny Thunders and the Hearbreakers), Howie Pyro (Bassist of D Generation), Brad Barnett and Billy Stark. It was an exciting era where Blondie, The Ramones, Talking Heads, NY Dolls, Patty Smith, Lou Reed etc. came from this NYC scene.
